The Issue:

The Basic Truths Of Life!

TRUTHS

The BibleEveryone that ever walked on this planet must come to terms in this life with some basic TRUTHS. These will be the basic truths that no one can argue with, if they are sane. Of course, if you believe what God says in His Own BOOK about you, then you will have no problem with accepting these basic truths.

1. The Brevity Of Life

"For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away." (James 4:14b) Our life is brief! like a vapor, or like smoke. "Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?" (Job 7:1) He is born, and then he will die! This is certain! (The exception being Enoch and Elijah, and also, those believers in Jesus Christ who are alive when He comes for His Church.)

2. The Brevity Of Your Remembrance

You will soon be forgotten. A man is remembered only a little while, and then he is forgotten. "He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him anymore. Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little, Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness." (Job 7:10 & 10:20-22)

3. The Sureness Of Trouble

Life is bale full of troubles. I have also found this very true!!! "Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble. He cometh forth like a flower, and is cut down: he fleeth also as a shadow, and continueth not." (Job 14:1).

4. The Verity Of The White Throne Judgment

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). You will not miss this one unless YOU ARE HID in the CLEFT OF THE ROCK!

5. The Eternality And The Finality Of What You Do With Jesus Christ:

We will all be held accountable over this issue. It is a hard fact of life, my friend. Now will you take God's offer of eternal life ... purchased by His Son ... for all those who will put their trust in Him ... a thumbs down? You will everlastingly suffer the consequences!

6. That Men Never Learn From History

We learn from History That Men Never Learn From History! It is a heart problem! Men refuse to learn the "lessons" afforded by the light of HISTORY: the recorded historical events which occurred as fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Now, these are the basic truths with which we all must deal with one way or another!

7. What Should You Do?

"But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"; [Romans 10:8-13]

THE BIBLE :

Believe The BOOK!

The King James Bible

BibleThis is God's Holy WORD to you and I! Do you believe it? The A.V.1611 (or The King James Bible) is God's word PRESERVED in the English language for you and me. It came from the English Reformation. This Bible declares that: "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." [2 Timothy 3:16] God's inspired word is preserved in the A.V.1611. The word "preserved" means maintained inspiration. "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in the furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." [Psalm 12:6-7] “PRESERVE.” .

LONG HOME

demo Everybody is going home someday. Everybody is going to their LONG HOME. When you die, you are going to go to your “long home” whether, it be in “Heaven” or in “Hell”. Do you realize that truth? “Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish, and the grasshopper shall be a burden, and desire shall fail: because man goeth to his long home, and the mourners go about the streets:” [Ecclesiastes 12:5]. Preface

This is a message from the messenger and is written to those who live in the 21st century.

The Muckraker & Faith

During the Vietnam War I requested that the old man [the Captain] of the U.S.S. Enterprise CVN-65 grant me the opportunity to see the real navy by letting me spend some time on a “tin can”.

Definition: “Tin can” is U.S. Navy slang for a destroyer.

Within days I was helicoptered on high seas over the surging rear deck of the U.S.S. Wilson DDG-7, and I climbed down the rope ladder while the pilot hovered over the destroyer.

I was to find out really quickly what it was like to “reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man”!

Psalm 107:23-30

“They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

For he commandeth, and raiseth the stormy wind, which lifteth up the waves thereof.

They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits' end.

Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.

He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he bringeth them unto their desired haven.”

Can you see this picture here of men reeling and staggering as drunken men?

1. People Are Reeling and Staggering The Muckraker & Faith

The condition of men has worsened [so much so] beyond the point of ever returning to good health.

[This sick condition will remain without the interruption of the Second Advent of Jesus Christ.]

“That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.” [Psalm 67:2]

3. Looking Downwards and Never Looking Upward - 4. The Solution is FAITH: The Muckraker & Faith

Men always looking downward causes men in life to blow it and miss the boat to the most important things to obtain in life.

This thing of always looking downward [earthward], and never looking upward … upward to Heaven will cause a person to lose their marbles, so to speak.

5. Faith Looks Upwards to Heaven The Muckraker & Faith

This substance allows one to see things that are not seen.

There are things out there that are not seen with the natural senses. Faith enables a supernatural sense to things that are invisible.

The measure of faith one has determines the clarity of this supernatural vision.

Psalm 12 ... is the promise to us!

Purified seven times ... God's word is kept in spite of men!

Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
[Verse 1]

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.  [Verse 2]

The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: [Verse 3]

Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us? [Verse 4]

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him. [Verse 5]

The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. [Verse 6]

Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.         [Verse 7]

The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted. [Verse 8]
