This workmanship [or operation] is performed on the believer in Jesus Christ, which operation was unknown to them living before “the fulness of the time was come.” [Galatians 4:4-5]
All New Testament saints, [the believers in Jesus Christ, who are in the body of Christ, the church], have this operation being performed on them according to the epistle to the Ephesians, chapter two, and verse ten.
A natural man who reads and studies the Bible without the Spirit of
God helping him will be lost in the woods! [The Bible is a closed book
to him.]
A spiritual man who reads and studies the Bible has the Spirit of Truth inside him to keep him out of the woods. [The Bible is an open book to him.]
The trumpet should not be used to produce an uncertain sound.
“For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?” [1 Corinthians 14:8].
Now, God is not the“author of confusion” [1 Corinthians 14:33]; he intends for the trumpet to produce a certain sound in order to convey a message.
3. The Coming of Our Lord Jesus - 4. Come Away
The Christian is “waiting” for Jesus to come … “in the air”.
The Christian is not waiting for Jesus to come to this earth to establish the Kingdom of Heaven [Matthew 11:11].
Rather it is this; the believers in Jesus Christ [the body of Christ] are waiting for Jesus to come and take them out of this earth to heaven “to the judgment seat of Christ” to prepare “for them a city.” [2 Corinthians 5:10]
Josiah is a type of a New Testament believer who is living on the
threshold of the very time of the coming translation of the Church and
judgment
God took Josiah out before the judgment came. God will take us out before the tribulation judgment comes.
If God in His mercy took Josiah out before the judgment came, then God will take us out before the Great Tribulation judgment begins.
The Christian is “waiting” for Jesus to come … “in the air”.
