The Five Fallen Kings in the Revelation of Jesus Christ, Or Called The Stone Effect

Psalms 12:6-7 "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever."

1 Thessalonians 2:13 "For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe."

1. By Every Word

Luke 4:2-7:

“Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God. And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.”

We need to notice here in this passage, the conjunctive: “but by every word of God”.

Now, do you see what I see?

Man was never designed by God to live by bread alone.

He was designed to live by bread plus by every word of God.

Do you have it?

Therefore, when a man decides to live by bread alone without God, and without God’s words, he falls prey to the power of darkness [Colossians 1:13]; in other words, he makes himself vulnerable to the wiles of the Devil. [See for truth in Ephesians 6:11.]

It gets worse for such a man!

Observation: A man who is vulnerable to the Devil … [it follows] he will surely fall into the pit of the Devil.

Warning: This particular pit becomes a home to a man, or to a woman, when he, or she, sells their soul to the Devil in exchange for power, money and worldly success.

“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” [Matthew 16:26]

Question: How many people have fallen into this pit, by selling themselves to the Devil for a little pottage?

Now, there is a common saying by many, down through the annals of time.

The saying is this:

Every man has a price.

In other words, they can be bought!

Pause here. Put some reflective thought into this.

The bottom line, for a truism:

Some men are plainly willing to sell their souls, in order to get something they want from this world.
