Old Paths Bible Ministries building in Oakdale, Tennessee
In July of 2005, my family started clearing the ground [for what was born in prayer] ... a building to the honor and glory of Jesus Christ. We call it the "Bible Cabin". Some visiting children even referred to it as the Tree House Church! My wife and I wanted it to be a multiple purpose building.
First and foremost to be a place where a bible study could be conducted in the area of Oakdale and Harriman, Tennessee. It is our prayer that a local independent Bible-believing Baptist Church will be started here. We began as Antioch Baptist Mission ... an extension of the Ministry of Antioch Baptist Church in Knoxville, Tennessee, began services in June, 2006. We are now Old Paths Baptist Mission [May, 2007].
Secondly that it would be a place where Bible-Believing missionaries and pastors passing through eastern Tennessee could find a place to rest and stay overnight in the Prophets Chamber.
